Hello, I have always been a great fan of Lance Henriksen. I'd say I've pretty much seen all of his work. I must admit though of all the rolls he's played, the MillenniuM series hit me the most. My wife and I were extremely disappointed when it went off the air. It is still my favorite show to date. None have even come close. I've always thought that this show brought out the best in him. I remember a couple of years ago we had a couple of friends over for dinner. We were looking for something to watch whether it was a movie or whatever. I asked them "have you ever seen MillenniuM"? They both said they haven't. I said "I'll tell you what... I'll put on the Pilot Episode (I have the DVD sets); if you don't like it, we can watch something else". After finishing the episode one of them said " Holy Crap... are they all somewhat on the same idea as this"? I said "Yep"! They said "okay, you've got us hooked. Let's watch the rest". Every time they came to visit (which was almost every other night), we watched another full disk. Of all the people I would have liked to shake hands with one day, it would be a privilege to shake hands with Lance.

Hi there, Mr. Henriksen!

I don’t know if you ever read those messages, but I hope you do, so here we go. A little love letter to you from devoted fan and impressed spectator.

I fall in love with Bishop when I was 11 y.o., 1989. It was USSR back then and review was kind of illegal. I hope it’s OK with you ;)

Since then I always watch any movie with your name in the cast list. Although I don’t like horrors or rivers of blood, you know. But your performance and your strong personality was always attractive to me. I can’t explain why, but it’s true.

Not long ago I happened to see a very weird movie – “Dream warrior”. Despite of it’s strange plot I, as always, was catch up by your character. You did a great job developing him, Parish. As you always do, actually. And at first time in my life I realize what an INCREDIBE man you are. It will sound foolish, but I understand it through hearing your voice. I never actually have an opportunity to clearly hear it, you know. Movies was always translated and dubbed. CONTINUED...

... But to fully understand this miracle I’ve found dozens of your non-dubbed films. I believe as eyes are the mirrors of person’s soul, voice – reflection of men individuality. And watching all this movies and especially “Millennium” show I ‘fell under you spell’.

I consider you a great talented yet underestimate actor and a very strong complete person. If I were a man, I’d use you as a role model. I admire your work as in film industry, as in non-film creativity. Your pottery, for example. You inspire me to go on, you taught me not to give up in life and find interests to be busy with. Now I know that life can just began in 30, not end, as I’ve thought before and that lesson is important for me now, ‘cos in a month I will turn 30.

But! Enough about me. The subject of this message it suppose to be your birthday, not mine ;) So let me congratulate you with another busy year of your remarkable life and wish you and your family many years of happiness, full of love, health, wealth  and non-stopping creativity.

I just finished watching "Bone Dry" again.........WOW!

What a great movie and it's obvious the toll the weather took upon everyone. With DVDs I especially enjoyed your commentary with the director. It adds so much as we all are allowed to enjoy your insight, humility, and terrific sense of humor! Do more of them!
