Bone Dry, 2006

TMR: What do you have lined up for the future?

LH: There is a movie I have been working on with Luke Goss, we’ve been working out in Death Valley and all around that area, Dumont Dunes. It’s called Bone Dry; it’s an independent film. It’s just a two-character movie, kind of a revenge film, but it’s really good. We worked and it was 130-degrees out there and we worked through the whole summer. I guess we’ll finish it up in January when it cools off a bit. We almost died out there! Death Valley hit the all time record, I think it went up to 140-degrees while we were out there shooting.

TMR: That must have been tough. Did you shoot a few minutes at a time and then go cool off in the trailers?

LH: The air conditioner in the trailer was barely working so we were dragging in part of the crew a few at a time and making sure everyone drank plenty of water. People were almost passing out all over the place. We became kind of a family, just watching out for each other.
