Lance ranks season
1 as the shows best. He preferred the reality based episodes over those that
relied on the supernatural. Had there been a 4th season Lance would have been
behind it with a proviso: "I would have said 'Look, let's clean up our
act. Let's get back to what we started out doing. Let's stop pretending I'm
a psychic. Frank Black was not a psychic.'"
"All he was ever meant to be was a guy who was so intelligent, like a chess player, and experienced. He would unravel things through absolute, factual intelligence. That's interesting."
"I never gave up on Frank Black. I was creating a guy I really liked. He had a code of ethics I really respected. I wish I were more like him, but I'm not."

Henriksen speaks warmly of Millenium fans - "they didn't like fatuous things; they were deeply involved with the show" - and if the opportunity were there, he'd be happy to step back into Frank Black's skin.
"I would love to play Frank Black again. Chris Carter wants to do a movie," he confides. "We'd be able to show and say things that we couldn't on the series." You can write to Carter c/o Twentieth Century Fox Television, 2121 Avenue of the Stars, Suite 809, Los Angeles, CA 90067; who knows what might happen if you and a few hundred thousand of your friends let your feelings be known?
