Congratulations are extended to actor Lance Henriksen who has received a Life Career Award at the 35th Annual Saturn Awards, organized by the Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy and Horror Films.
The Saturn Award is an award presented annually by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films to honor the top works in science fiction, fantasy, and horror in film, television, and home video. Similar to other awards, like the Oscars, the Emmys and the Grammys, the Saturn Awards are voted on by members of the presenting Academy. There are also special awards for lifetime achievement in the field. The awards were first presented in 1972.
The highlight at the awards ceremony were the special awards presented throughout the evening. Actor Lance Henriksen received the Life Career Award from actor Ed Harris for his strong body of work in film and television.
10th June 2009 Trailer Debut For Lance's 'Godkiller'
A trailer has appeared for Halo-8's incredible looking, dystopic scifi Godkiller which features the gravelly voice of our beloved Lance Henriksen. Godkiller is a series of graphic novels and illustrated films created by award-winning filmmaker Matt Pizzolo that tells the stories of human beings caught in the crossfire of warring fallen gods.
Resembling a violent sci-fi/horror comic, Godkiller is set to have a limited theatrical release coming September 29, 2009 followed by the inevitable DVD release.
Godkiller takes place in a dark future after economic collapse, after nuclear holy war, and after Earth is colonized by alien races. Tommy and his kid sister Lucy live in an orphanage in one of the few remaining city-states, but Lucy is critically ill and desperately in need of a new heart. Tommy's odyssey to find a new heart for his sister begins when he follows an organ-stealing prostitute named Halfpipe out of the city-state and into the savage border-land known as Outer City. Godkiller mixes unforgiving brutality, quantum physics, conspiracy theory, and secret history for an iconoclastic hero's journey like none before it. This "illustrated film" features intense comic art with mind-bending motion graphics, blood-pumping music, otherworldly sound design, and voice acting by some of the most exciting performers in genre films and youth-culture.
Besides Lance Henriksen, Godkiller also stars an impressive voice cast of Danielle Harris (Halloween, H2), Justin Pierre (singer of Motion City Soundtrack), Tiffany Shepis (Night of the Demons), Bill Moseley (TCM 2, The Devil's Rejects), Nicki Clyne (Battlestar Gallactica), Katie Nisa (Threat), Lydia Lunch (Hardcore), and Davey Havok (singer of A.F.I.)

May 2009 Lance Henriksen set to appear in TBK: The Toolbox Murders
Lance Henriksen is to return to the horror genre with a role in the forthcoming TBK: The Toolbox Murders, the sequel to 2003's Tobe Hooper-directed remake written by Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson.
This time around it is to be Dean Jones, a Hollywood special FX veteran who will write and direct the sequel which also features Jeffrey Combs, Red West and Brian Krause, with Richard Gale producing.

April 2009 SCREENGAGE officially announces new feature film project "FOR THE LOVE OF JADE"

Award winning writer/director/producer Michael J. Yurinko officially announced his new film project “FOR THE LOVE OF JADE” today in NYC at a dinner hosted by Screengage LLC, a motion picture development and production company owned by Mr. Yurinko. Among the film’s supporters there was strong interest from a New York City film company, to be announced at a later date, to invest an unmentioned amount of money for the production and release of the dramatic feature film “For the Love of Jade” which will star the Spirit Award Nominated actor Charlie McDermott (Frozen River).
Screengage LLC is also negotiating with such notable actors as Carla Gallo (Californication), Lee Arenberg (Pirates of the Caribbean), Lance Henriksen (Appaloosa) , Michael C. Williams (The Blair Witch Project) and Jonathan Lipnicki (Jerry Maguire). Mr. Yurinko and NYC representatives will be releasing the names of “A-List” Actors to play the remaining lead roles at a later date this year.
Easton, PA, where Screengage LLC is currently opening for business has welcomed the film company and its staff with open arms. The film company plans to film “For the Love of Jade” mainly in and around the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania with some locations in Moundsville, West Virginia. Filming is scheduled for mid September, 2009.

March 2009 Lance Henriksen to attend Germany's Weekend of Horrors
We like to get the word out as soon as possible when actor Lance Henriksen makes one of his many guest appearances and so its with many thanks indeed to Carsten Holden for contacting us with the news that Lance will be appearing at the forthcoming Weekend of Horrors in Germany. The event takes place across the 9th and 10th of May 2009.

All windows will be covered in black, gloomy light, scary sounds and a creepy decoration will let you experience pure horror feeling! February 2009 Lance Henriksen - NCIS reminder!
As recently reported, actor Lance Henriksen will be appearing in an episode of the CBS TV series NCIS and its on tonight in the USA.
You can catch Lance's return to television when he will play Sheriff Clay Boyd in the episode South by Southwest tonight (Tuesday) at 8pm ET/PT. February 2009 Lance Henriksen to appear on NCIS
Internet website TV Guide.com has recently reported that actor Lance Henriksen will be appearing in a forthcoming episode of the TV series NCIS.
The article entitled NCIS Exclusive: Lance Henriksen Cops Sheriff Role states that Lance will will play Sheriff Clay Boyd in the episode "South by Southwest," which is earmarked for a February sweeps showcase.

The Illuminati: Out of Chaos Comes Order
According to IMDB.com, Lance is set to appear in the forthcoming sci-fi thriller The Illuminati: Out of Chaos Comes Order as the character of 'Dalian'. The film, also starring Kevin Sorbo (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Andromeda) is being directed by David Winning (also serving as co-producer) and has a scheduled release date of 12 December 2009. Screamers: The Hunting
Lance is also to be seen in the direct to DVD sequel, Screamers: The Hunting. The release date is listed as 23rd March, 2009 and here's the synopsis:

Cyrus
Finally and this sounds particularly interesting, Lance is rumored to be starring as Emmett in Cyrus. The film's screenplay was written by Mark Vadik also the film's director. Mark has provided the following plot summary over at IMDB:
Inspired by a true story, a small independent news crew, made up of reporter Maria and her camera man Tom, investigates a series of unexplained disappearances in a small Midwestern county. November 2008 Convention Photos from Sweden
Robin Arvidsson kindly sent us some photos taken when he met the wonderful Lance Henriksen at the recent Scandinavian Sci-Fi, Game and Film Convention in Sweden.
We also heard from Eric who shared the following photo when he met up with Lance at the same convention. Eric has also kindly supplied some links to some Lance videos that he has made and uploaded to Youtube, more on those to follow.

September 2008 Back to Frank Black - Millennium Movie Campaign
During September 2008, work started on a promotional campaign Back to Frank Black to gather support and increase awareness of the demand for a Millennium movie. Inspired by the comments of Lance Henriksen and Frank Spotnitz, several members of the fan community at This is Who We Are - Millennium Message Board, led by Laredo (Jim) and Ethsnafu (Mark) are currently creating a new website with the assistance and collaboration of other respected fans.
The aim is to maximizing online interest with information on who Frank Black was and why he should be brought back, forum signature banners and desktop wallpapers which encompass a professional, respectful and ethical letter writing campaign. Additional multimedia will be added shortly and affiliate Facebook, MySpace and Bebo pages are also in the process of being added.

Appaloosa (2008) which sees Lance working with Viggo Mortensen, Renée Zellweger, Jeremy Irons and the wonderful Ed Harris who incidentally co-wrote and directed this feature film...
A quick check over at IMDB.com shows us that actor Lance Henriksen appears to have returned to the realms of television again, this time to a series called Ladies of the House. Coincidentally his character is listed as Frank.
Details are fairly nonexistent at the moment, but the series is slated for a 2008 release date and will be directed by James A. Contner, who has directed previous television shows including Angel, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Charmed and Enterprise amongst his various other credits. Included in the cast line-up are renowned actors Pamela Grier and Richard Roundtree (Shaft).

May 2008 Happy Birthday Lance Henriksen!
Yes its May 5th again and that means Lance Henriksen is celebrating his 68th birthday today and according to time honored tradition its time to upload a new virtual birthday card!
Many thanks to everybody who took the time to send in a birthday message e-mail for Lance. It was a pleasure to read your thoughts and I'm sure Lance will be happy to read them too!
It looks like actors Lance Henriksen and Brad Dourif will be reunited to share the screen again with the forthcoming movie Blood Shot. Lance and Brad were responsible for some great scenes in the Millennium first season episode Force Majeure.
Details are currently sketchy but according to IMDB.com the film was written and directed by Dietrich Johnstone. Lance plays the character of Sam and Brad portrays Bob. Sadly there currently is no synopsis for Blood Shot yet but expect a possible vampire theme, as there is one listed in the character credits.

8th February 2008 Dark Reel
We recently heard from Josh Eisenstadt, director of the forthcoming feature film Dark Reel starring actors Edward Furlong (as Adam Waltz) and Lance Henriksen. Edward Furlong is possibly best known for his first feature role as John Connor in Terminator 2.
Josh says "Dark Reel was completed in November (2007) and Lance fleshed out a memorable character as B-movie studio head 'Connor Pritchett'. I am certain his fans will enjoy his incredible performance when the film is released later this year."
Josh goes on to say that Lance will be appearing at the Horror Hound Weekend in Indianapolis at the end of March to help them promote the film, so if you are in that area be sure to pay them a visit. 18th January 2008 Lance Henriksen DVD Updates
Some of Lance Henriksen's latest projects are making their way to DVD. Thanks to regular contributor Asgeir Bjorlo for sharing the following release dates:
Bone Dry featuring Lance with Luke Goss will be available on February 26th 2008, on Region 1 US DVD format and is already on Region 2 release in the UK.
Pistol Whipped staring Lance Henriksen and Steven Seagal will be available on March 4th 2008, again on Region 1.
Please note that this is only a fan website, and we are unable to pass on messages to Lance Henriksen, give out contact details, arrange appearences or acting, or supply signed photos.
Thank you for your understanding but we're still getting lots of e-mails asking if we can supply photos, scripts and to pass messages on to Lance which we sadly can't!
